Joining
Welcome! Please follow the simple steps
below to join Edge of the Galaxy - Home 1,
and if you have any questions please feel free
to contact one of the mods in the chat!

Joining process

Step 1 - Rules
First thing before you join the group we please ask that you look over the group rules first. Regardless if you've just joined if you break the rules before reading them you'll still be marked down. It's tough but fair!

Step 2 - Discord
Before starting we recommend you join the group discord server (if you haven't already) to meet the group and get to know everyone there!

Step 3 - Story & History
After you've read the rules and joined the server check out the story and history pages to understand the story.

Step 4 - Mechanic
Once you have your bearings with the themes of the group we ask you to please look over the Mechanics page. This will impact your character sheet and details!

Step 5 - Character sheet
You can find the character sheet template here. If you're unsure how to format or how long to make your sheets check out this example sheet for a guide. Points to remember when creating your sheet:

-
All characters start at level 2
-
Characters must be 16+
-
You need at least one HP Stat (already filled in on the sheet)
-
Skills are a means of creatively using your stats! Pick skills that are useful. (e.g. 'a good fighting' skill will be a waste because regardless everyone will roll the same ATK roll. Translate languages is a skill no one else will have naturally.)
-
Force powers count as skills, one force power per skill.
-
You can use art in your character description (links only please) BUT you cannot steal art online, you must have made it yourself, or have permission from the user that you can use it (screenshot proof please).
-
All ships can be no larger than a light freighter (Millenium falcon)

Step 6 - Submit your character
Once your sheet is complete please submit it to the #Character-Review channel on the Discord Server. There Red will go through the sheet for any amends or tweaks. We please ask that you take all feedback as constructive!
